Why this will be my last n8n build YouTube video

We just released the final video in our n8n build series.

It shows how to take basic ideas or spreadsheets and turn them into complete AI systems.

Technically solid.
And super valuable for the right audience.
Watch the whole playlist here.

But it doesn’t excite me anymore...

...and I can feel myself falling into the exact trap every other n8n creator falls into - creating content just to keep the upload schedule going.

I have a whole list of video ideas sitting in my drafts. A few more great ones, but after that... not so great ones.

Tutorial after tutorial showing how to build workflows that solve problems nobody really has.

Ultimately, it has no value. And doesn't help anyone.

So I can’t do it. I won't do it!

A Review of What Actually Worked

As I reviewed 2025 I realised we got traction on YouTube and built over 700 customers because we created one genuinely great product that solved real problems.

So we’re going back to what works: building products for business owners who want to drive growth, not people trying to become automation experts.

The Mitch Asser channel will begin diving deeper into AI content tools and strategy.

The BigMoves AI channel is where we'll continue to experiment with "AI Mitch" - with a new strategy being implemented in 2026 as the current one isn't really built for growth, just SEO.

The 2026 Focus

We’ve got 5 solid products launching in 2026.

They’ll include automation systems, but they’re predominantly about understanding the strategy for growth with content.

All AI content systems.
Because if you haven’t worked out how to grow in 2026 yet... it’s with content.

When I started, I grew with Facebook ads.
I’ve spent over $5 million on ads in the last 9 years.
They still work okay, but they’re not the best growth strategy anymore.

Content is.

The Real Problem We’re Solving

Business owners who aren’t making content don’t need to be convinced they should. Everyone knows they need to.

The problem? Most just don’t want to be on camera.

AI now gives us the opportunity to create worlds, themes, and characters that align with any business. You don’t need to be the face of your brand anymore.

That’s what we’re building. Systems that let business owners create content at scale without ever stepping in front of a camera.

What This Means

No more build tutorials.
No more “here’s how to connect this API to that database” videos.

We’re shifting everything to solving real business problems with complete, ready-to-use solutions.

Products that work out of the box.
Systems that drive actual results.

That’s what BigMoves 2.0 is all about.

It's not Claude Code. It's not Cowork. It's the same two tools I've been using since the start. Airtable and n8n. Last week we were deep in prep for the AI Content Creator Summit. 23+ speakers, sessions, promo assets, the works. The system we've built on Airtable + n8n saved us 104 hours in 7 days. Now here's the thing... I use Claude every day. I max out my plan most days. And I still think Airtable + n8n is more powerful for the work that actually moves the business. Three reasons. 1. The...

For two years I've been watching AI image tools improve. Every few months a new one would launch. Every creator would hype it up. Then I'd test it on real client work and the output was... fine. Usable. But not totally something I'm stoked about. Recently that changed. GPT Image 2 is good! Really good!!! The thumbnails it's producing for the summit videos in our AI system is crazy. All done with a training image and a prompt we've refined over 3 months. So what we're doing now is going back...

Getting sick last year was one of the best things that happened to me. It didn't feel that way at the time. I had to let go of 3 team members while trying to get BigMoves AI off the ground. It was rough. But looking back... it forced something I wouldn't have done otherwise. It forced me back into the weeds of business. Here's the trap most experienced business owners fall into with AI. If you've been running a team for years, you've been trained to delegate. Something not worth your time?...
