The Three Solutions

Every bottleneck in your business has exactly three possible solutions:

Automate it
Delegate it
Eliminate it

In the past, the ratio was clear: 90% delegate, 10% automate or eliminate.

But here's what most business owners don't realize: that ratio has completely flipped.

Today, it should be closer to 60-70% automate and 30% delegate.

In the years to come it will be 95% automate and 5% delegate.

Yet most people are still operating with the old playbook.

The Real Cost of Old Thinking

For our AI tool review site, we have automations that:

Research new tools
Write initial reviews
Categorize the tools
Take screenshots of the tool website
Proofread content
Upload to WordPress
Create promotional emails
Generate social media posts.

In the old model, this would require someone working 40-60 hours per week.

Today?
We do it completely with automation.

The person overseeing this spends less than 15 hours a week on it.

That's getting 40+ hours of output from 15 hours of input.

The Paradigm Shift

Stop asking "should I automate this?"

Start asking "what parts of this can't be automated?"

Flip the default assumption.

Old thinking: "This process is manual by default, maybe I can automate parts of it."

New thinking: "This process should be automated by default, I'll only keep the parts that genuinely need human judgment."

The Uncomfortable Truth

If you're still defaulting to "I need to hire someone" every time you hit a constraint, you're building a business model from 2019.

You'll be competing against businesses that can move 3x faster with 1/3rd the team.

That's not a fun position to be in.

Your Action Step

This week, write down your top 3 bottlenecks.

For each one, honestly assess:
Could this be automated?
What percentage of it?

The hours you save?
Invest them in solving the next bottleneck.

Because that's your only real job as a business owner.

Identify bottlenecks.
Provide solutions.

Everything else is just noise.
