The #1 reason we finally started to get momentum

Last week we hosted our first AI summit, the AI Content Mastery Summit.

We had 24 amazing speakers. Thousands of attendees signed up and watched the sessions.

I also spoke on 5 live Q&A's with my co-host Simone Lea.

Overall it was a great week that I believe will be a turning point for the brand.

And there's 1 reason why it was a success...

Before I get to that, if you missed any of the summit... don't worry.

We'll be releasing it on Youtube over the next 3 months.

In fact, check out our new BigMoves AI Clips channel to get access to bite-size snippets of each talk.

Perfect for those wanting to save time.

Now the #1 reason why we started to gain momentum is because of a lesson I learned about 6 years ago.

And still ignored it over the past 2 years.

The lesson is this:

"If you're business is not growing as fast as you want it to it's because you're not spending 80% of your time on marketing and sales"

I knew this already.

My last business grew quickly because we focused on that rule.

But the last 2 years I admit that I got side-tracked by AI so much and I spent most of my time building things.

Instead of marketing things...

I'm willing to bet that a large part of my audience (maybe you) could be getting distracted too.

So this is your reminder.

Focus on growth and you'll begin to grow.

For us, focusing on growth meant:

  • High quality content (summit interviews)
  • Repurposing that content (new clips channel + YouTube + carousels + reels are in the pipeline)
  • Running ads on Meta (still the highest performing platform for advertising)

This is how we'll continue to see massive growth moving forward.

Hope this helps!

For two years I've been watching AI image tools improve. Every few months a new one would launch. Every creator would hype it up. Then I'd test it on real client work and the output was... fine. Usable. But not totally something I'm stoked about. Recently that changed. GPT Image 2 is good! Really good!!! The thumbnails it's producing for the summit videos in our AI system is crazy. All done with a training image and a prompt we've refined over 3 months. So what we're doing now is going back...

Getting sick last year was one of the best things that happened to me. It didn't feel that way at the time. I had to let go of 3 team members while trying to get BigMoves AI off the ground. It was rough. But looking back... it forced something I wouldn't have done otherwise. It forced me back into the weeds of business. Here's the trap most experienced business owners fall into with AI. If you've been running a team for years, you've been trained to delegate. Something not worth your time?...

I was in Singapore recently and caught up with a mate who coaches some of Australia's most successful entrepreneurs. He's written books on it. Spent years figuring out what separates people who consistently perform from those who just work hard and stay stuck. He told me my edge is 'the innovator.' Someone who has a feel for how things work across all types of businesses and niches... and can piece together old methods with new technology. I didn't disagree. But I also hadn't thought about it...
