I can’t stand the people on social media announcing they just cancelled Claude for Codex, or vice versa.

First, they are probably lying and doing it for views.

If not, they are really dumb and naive.

If you’ve not worked it out yet, all leading tools are valuable in their own way.

And the value to you as a user is building an AI eco-system where they all talk to each other.

That’s why I love Grokbot. It’s the first time they’ve made it easy for specialist bots to talk to each other, with infinite context. ChatGPT Astra have made it way easier now too.

I stopped thinking about one giant interface that needs to do everything.

I started thinking about a group of bots that each own a slice of the work… then hand off to Claude and Codex when that’s the better tool for the actual job.

The way I’m structuring my eco-system

Grokbots as the operational layer.
I predominantly speak with Chief.
Chief assigns the tasks to the specialist bots.

Those bots are the operational lead or project manager of that task.
And for any coding, automation, content and marketing, they assign the actual work to Claude and Codex.

Why? Well I have a few bets at the moment.

1. Elon is probably going to build something way better than everyone on a 10 year horizon. So I’m positioning myself now.
2. As long as they all talk to each other you never need to cancel and swap providers. You benefit from every new model launch. And nothing changes in your setup except maybe creating new skills or tasks or workflows as the AI gets better.
3. Simplifying everything. Sure… we’ve been able to build systems for the last 2 years with n8n and other tools to do what these tools are now doing. But you’d spend weeks perfecting it before launch. Now it just runs out of the box with a few oAuths. Simple always wins.

So I’m paying for 3 subscriptions? Yes! The productivity you get from a team of bots for ~$500/m is equivalent to 3-5 virtual assistants. It’s a no-brainer.

P.S. Next email I’m going to dive into how I built a high-end website in 20 minutes (and only a couple of prompts) with Astra. Honestly, it’s mind-blowing how far AI has come in the last few weeks alone.
